We advise to start marketing your rental accommodations as early as 18 months in advance. As we move closer to the Olympic Games an increasing number of private Olympic rentals will be coming to the market, reducing your chances of renting your property successfully. Also, some of the best tenants will be finalizing their travel arrangements early.
Q: How do I remove my rental listing from Rent at the Games when it's rented?
You can remove your rental property listing from search results yourself after you login. Simply choose 'Edit My Listing' and check "property rented" near the bottom of the listing.
Q: Can I use credit cards for payments and is my payment secure?
Yes, you can use Visa and MasterCard. Our homeowners may use PayPal to process your payments because this is the most secure way to pay online. Plus, when you pay with PayPal, you do not expose your credit card number to us or the homeowner.
Q: Do I pay any extras (like taxes, services, utilities fees)?
Normally, there are no additional charges other than our 15% service charge that covers our many services. Most important, we put every property through a rigorous verification process to ensure you are dealing only with the legal owner of the property. Many other services are included, such as contract preparation, transaction processing, property inspections, and secure key storage. Be sure to build this into your budget when making your comparisons and your final home selection.
